The one clearly missing.... would be chapter 1 which in mother 3 is where the characters have lucas "go missing" while ONLY the player sees his corpse off the cliff.

Akin to mother 3 ONLY showing the player claus is already dead while the characters treat him as lost.

The barrier could be akin to the fountain of castle town. The seemingly door to it even has 3 pairs of wings; aka multiple angels.

Again the history was changed. We need to look between things for the answer.

@Kirwithdot Eram is *darkness* and during the fight the background turns red and starts to have eyes.

Red + darkness.

Makes me think of us/the soul. Red with the power of light that pierces the darkness.

Angel and a fallen angel.

@TemmieOrSmth99 @Comettzz Sans literally *appears* in both worlds the same way. Suddenly moving in just before "the game starts". Since undertale even explains this with spacetime readings "they got" it is far more likely to assume this is literally the same and he is some "space time police"
