@joshdotbad @jamesafisher @meneerharmsen It doesn‘t address the need of freely explore Qlik, without being forced to use a time limited trial version. A free desktop version is a powerful tool to let potential customers (and developers!) slowly growing into adapting the right tool.

@meneerharmsen We regularly participate in ‚beauty contests‘ where we are given a data set (on premise!). We implement the PoC in QSD, our competitors in Tableau and Power BI. No QSD will reduce the shortlist - guess which tool will not make it to the short list anymore... Poor decision by qlik
