• Venezuela’s telecom regulator, CONATEL, approved a temporary 3-month pilot for Movistar/Telefónica to test Starlink-powered Direct-to-Device connectivity.

• The pilot will use SpaceX’s Starlink satellite constellation.

• It is designed to let mobile phones connect directly with satellites.

• Testing is focused on La Guaira, one of the earthquake-affected areas.

• This will help people stay connected when cell towers, fiber, or ground networks are damaged.

Starlink is proving once again that satellite connectivity can become a lifeline when disaster strikes.

🇩🇪 VW SHUTS FIRST GERMAN PLANT EVER - 88 YEARS, NOW IT'S OVER

Volkswagen closes Dresden production Tuesday. First German factory shutdown in company history. The poster child for Germany's EV pivot just became a museum.

The numbers tell it: Dresden made under 200K cars since 2002 - half what Wolfsburg cranks out annually. Started building luxury Phaetons, pivoted to electric ID.3s, now it's a university AI campus.

Real story: €180bn investment budget slashed to €160bn. Gas engines living longer than planned.

China sales tanking. EU demand dead. U.S. tariffs biting. 35,000 German jobs getting axed.

VW's CFO says 2025 cash flow might be "slightly positive" - meaning "we're bleeding but pretending we're fine."

🇬🇧🇺🇸 BBC EDITED TRUMP’S JAN 6 SPEECH TO MAKE HIM LOOK WORSE

A whistleblower memo reveals the BBC did cut and rearrange Trump’s Jan. 6 speech in their Panorama documentary.

The edit removes parts where he told people to act “peacefully,” making it sound like he was just riling up the crowd.

Side-by-side footage shows the BBC version and the original are not the same... not even close.
