#RPGaDay2023 Funniest game you've played School 24 hour roleplay to raise money for the library MERP. Remember us all being really tired fudging rolls doing things the rules didn't cover and just the worst shenanigans; think "Pippin" but I don't think any of us were Hobbitses!
#RPGaDAY2023 (For yesterday, busy day!) Game you wish you owned. Been fortunate enough to meet Jonathan Green a few times, what a really nice guy he is and incredibly knowledgeable about gamebooks, RPGs and the like.
Heorot - Beowulf RPG.

#RPGaDAY2023 Favourite Con Module one off. Free League's Alien Chariot of the Gods. Facehuggers on the 1 of the Stress Dice! The scenario does a great job of showcasing the rules, love the way players can earn story points by achieving their own character motivations.
#RPGaDAY2023 favourite convention purchase. Had the honour of helping Rene' Batsford run the Lone Wolf stall at Dragonmeet '22. A genuine Crystal Star Pendant (Magician not included), a Kai Cloak Clasp and a Kai Master's badge of rank.

#RPGaDAY2023 Most memorable character demise. Staying with my sister & spouse at RAF base only about 15, but invited to play with the base D&D group. Fighter died heroically taking the brunt for the rest of the party. Book of Lairs 2 IIRC, we also played the Leprechaun scenario.
#RPGaDAY2023 Old Game you still play. Aside from those I've used, Dragon Warriors & it's Gamebook equivalent (well set in the same world) Blood Sword (which recently had the 5e treatment). Fairly simple rules to grasp, with lovely illustrations to help. Would play in a heartbeat.
#RPGaDay2023 Wierdest game you played in. D-Infinity Live, podcast for Skirmisher, ran a 5e D&D challenge only one character could do physical attacks, spells, etc. Created an Arcana Cleric. It was a lot of fun, there's an in-game reason for restrictions

#RPGaDay2023 Favourite tie-in fiction. Pendragon RPG,
Arthur Rex Book 1 In Principio hands-down the most intelligent retelling. The series manages to feature every thread of the myth and weave them together in such a compelling way.
Intelligent, engaging, harrowing & rewarding.
#RPGaDay2023 Favourite Dice. As a general rule not keen on metal dice they're just so heavy and take chunks out of tables, etc., when rolled. I'll gladly make an exception here. Amy gave me the set in the wood tray and Paige gave me the front set. I have to choose these right?
#RPGaDay2023 Favourite character Jumana 5eD&D Human Thief Dancing Girl escaped from a hareem. Ranged attacker, party composition ends up being the "Tank" using Dodge. Once she made six Ghoul Paralysis Saves in one round. https://t.co/MwaouRSy1U
RPGsDay2023 Smartest RPG. Earthdawn Legend (XP) Points tie a thread to something that will boost your tests with it, items people & places too. Step Die rank determines which dice you roll; better you are the more 'sides' of dice. d% & d6s nice love using unusual shaped dice too.
#RPGaDay2023 Favourite game you never get to play. I'd love to run or play Joe Dever's Lone Wolf Adventure Game (LWAG) by Cubicle 7 or Lone Wolf Multiplayer or Lone Wolf D20 OGL, Mongoose Publishing. Done them as play by post, never as a live game.
Basically anything Lone Wolf!
#RPGaDay2023 Most recent purchase. Same as yesterday for RPGs. Instead, Straight to Hell and Devil's Right Hand. The excellent Hellscape series by Black Dog Gamebooks.
Straight to Hell: Hellscape Book 1 (The Hellscape) https://t.co/ycGPLzAOTr

#RPGaDay2023 First game bought this year (something like that). Well it's a supplement I got at UK Games Expo "Up In Arms" WFRP 4th Edition. Managed to get Dom to sign it too, well chuffed.
#RPGaDay2023 First RPG Gamesmaster.
Hmm, apart from "forever-DM" myself, I think it would have been Kevin. Was such a long time ago! We were at school. Am pretty sure it was my first taste of WFRP and Dragon Warriors. Both excellent RPGs with gorgeous black & white illustrations.
Just realised I hadn't backed this! Thought I had. Ah well, still had the weekend to go.
Jonathan Green is one of the only people I wouldn't hesitate to back a Kickstarter for.
I just backed YOU ARE THE HERO - 40th Anniversary Edition on @Kickstarter https://t.co/eJqM6t6Oyu
My team won Fighting Fantasy Fest 4s pub quiz You Are The Beer-o Chuffed to meet so many amazing folks Good natured rivalry and banter was brilliant Gamebook fans are the best community - kindred spirits; must be all those instadeath paragraphs uniting us in pain #fightingfantasy
