I lost my Dad this morning to COVID-19. He was my rock, my best friend, and my hero. He had virtually no symptoms and 48 hours later he was fighting for his life. I’m begging you guys from the bottom of my heart, please stay inside and be safe.
This is Geoffrey from Ponca City, Oklahoma.
The 70-year-old tested positive for #COVID19 and now is in a medically induced coma, connected to a ventilator.
His wife is also sick at home in quarantine.
Stay home.
Wash your hands.
People like Geoffrey depend on it.

I feel so much secondhand embarrassment for people that still went on spring break trips and are posting pictures with captions joking about social distancing/getting sick. People are dying and you should have stayed home.
If this crisis teaches us anything, it better be that we'e all vulnerable and we better approach life with a little more humility and love for our neighbors.
me: “quarantine is no big deal i can still go in the backyard if i need to”
oklahoma: “what if we make it rain for 2 full weeks and throw in some tornados as a nice little garnish” *chef’s kiss*
