My baby turns one in 2 1/2 weeks 😭

Being told he had a 60% chance of survival after he was born and everything he went through his first few weeks of life makes it such a bittersweet day. So thankful he’s here and healthy and the hard part is behind us.

No health issues aside from acid reflux. Thankful every single day.

A few hrs after birth we were told our son was born with a major birth defect, would need surgery and had an at best 60% chance of surviving. That he would need to be in the nicu for months and likely go home on oxygen and have other health issues.

8 months later & here he is🤍

@senpaichai He’s usually pretty good with helping. Might complain before doing it sometimes 😂 but always does. He also on his day off helps with cleaning and stuff too
