After 5 months of planning, our first Live2D Jakarta Chapter event was a huge success!
We brought an interactive Live2D showcase to the biggest anime con in Indonesia, featuring over 20 finest models created by our local artists and riggers.
This showcase also included a custom-made plugin for VTube Studio that adds touch interactivity to Live2D models, allowing visitors to interact with VTuber models in a more engaging way!
We hope this demo could open up new potential for Vtubers in IRL events.
Special thanks to Live2D Inc. for trusting me to host this event! The showcase attracted many curious visitors and gave us the opportunity to introduce this tech to a wider audience, and we hope we are opening up new opportunities for everyone.
Look forward to our next one!

Reminder that @VTubeStudio does not support 5.3 features yet so if you wish to upgrade remember to select "SDK 5.0" in your project settings and export option
I made a tool to link OBS Studio scenes to #VTubeStudio hotkeys.
This is useful to automatically change the zoom level of your model when changing scenes, since that gives you way better image resolution compared to zooming in OBS.

When we're rigging, we adjust the physics for the MAXIMUM range of motion so it doesn't break. You're not going to be moving as much as possible most of the time, so turning up the sliders makes it look more bouncy... Until you move more than normal and it breaks
My 2 cents on this as a rigger because of the comments I've seen come from this post, not the poster but the ppl in the comments and quote RTs. I'm kind of tired of seeing rig artists being treated lesser or without the same respect as model artists. Much of this would be outted as bad or hurtful to the artist if it was a drawing and not animaion. I know it's scary to ask this but please ask your L2D rig artist for permission first before adjusting physics settings. Making modifications to the physics settings vs modifications to the input values to calibrate your model to yourself IS DIFFERENT. Modifying the physics settings is the same as modifying an artist's artwork. It no longer represents our work. If you need something different, ask. The amount of commenters so comfortable with dissing their rig artists calling their work no good, stiff, lazy without these physics settings being messed up is horrible. Every rig artist has their own style and capabilities.
I'm so sick of how poorly this community treats rig artists.
Thank you all for coming to my 3.0 debut! I am so happy to announce many things and did a Genshin cookbook showcase. I want to hugely thank @wyrenmelon for the model, @kaituren_ for rigging, and @NgReimond for BGM. I hope you all enjoyed and make sure to take rests everyone!
