It’s one thing to come to Canada on a temporary permit; it’s another to refuse to leave once that permit expires. Right now in Manitoba, we have groups with expired visas meaning they are currently in the country illegally occupying our streets to demand ‘rights’ to stay.

A visa is a legal contract with an end date. You don’t get to bypass our immigration laws just because you’ve decided the rules shouldn’t apply to you. Using our freedoms to protest against our own laws is a slap in the face to every legal immigrant who followed the rules and waited their turn. 🇨🇦
