@Beanie0597 Absolutely agree that books>screens but our daughter had every advantage (highly literate parents/SAHM who read daily, etc) & she still had difficulty learning to read due to dyslexia. Parents need to be accountable but schools also need to be held accountable.
@HannahFrankman Yes! I quit my job to homeschool our girls and we talk often about their future career paths. We are encouraging them to think about not just when their kids are little but if homeschooling becomes the best options for them as well.
@MrDanielBuck My youngest is almost 13 and I’ve been cleaning out our digital photo files so I’m here to say let that princess dress herself! And take lots of pictures!! Enjoy watching her grow!! It’s just the best.
@jennfrey I haven’t heard this actual exchange (if it’s even available) but I actually think more parents need to draw the line when their children incessantly interrupt them or other adults. It’s so rude and it’s behavior that is best corrected by parents.
