Nobody had been talking about RuneScape for years. The hype around Reignited finally put the game back on everyone’s radar, and then you spineless cowards decide to scrap the whole thing because you’re afraid of a vocal minority on Reddit.

I’m a veteran player. I have veteran friends too, all of us with accounts over 15 years old, and you got our hopes up just to spit in our faces.

I’m done. I genuinely am.

That's literally it. I honestly don't know who elected Reddit to speak for the "veteran community". They act like veteran players —myself included— weren't excited about Reignited. I never stopped playing RS3... but it's now clear to me that this game has no future.

As someone who never played RuneScape, RuneScape ignited seemed like the perfect opportunity to try. However it’s already cancelled due to backlash from some of their community. Seems like a lot of wasted work, time, money, and resources no?

@stilljuyi I never quit RS3, I even pay my membership, but now I have absolutely certain that it has no future and what always bothered me will stay until its dead. So yeah, now I'll quit. Enjoy ur game bro!
