After spending over 2M for meters, including Customer funded meters but no connection has ever been made. Probably this is the most frustrating agency in Uganda for businesses and investments.

Dr. Muganga didn’t say he recorded the proceedings or any conversations. He meant that even before the proceedings, there was an audio in circulation where Hon. Tayebwa was saying he will fail Dr. Muganga.

It is ofcourse wrong for Dr. Muganga to be the one talking about releasing search audio especially since he’s being vetted to head an institution that should take confidentiality seriously.

It is wrong of Hon. Tayebwa to make such statements whether it’s true or not.

@Jacquedavids1 @DaudiKabanda I also believe that Lawrence Muganga never formally applied for Rwandan citizenship, therefore he was never naturalized as a Rwandan citizen, and thus he could not formally renounce something he never applied for. Having heard him in a media interview today, he said he obtained Rwandan identity papers to work at the Rwanda Revenue Authority. This means that, in principle, this formal renunciation cannot be applied procedurally because there was never an application for Rwandan citizenship.
