This woman says the quiet part out loud and speaks an uncomfortable truth. Say it louder for the people in the back!
“If the Government feeds you, it can starve you. If the Government houses you, it can evict you. If the Government pays your utilities, it can turn them off. If the Government pays your cell phone, it can disconnect it. If the Government provides your transportation, it can decide when you go and where you can travel. If the Government takes care of your health, it can decide when it has spent enough money on you. If the Government educates your children, it can choose what they learn. If the Government raises your children, it can shape what they believe. If the Government controls your information, it can control your truth.
And when a Government controls all of those things, it doesn’t have to take your freedom, you will hand it over piece by piece in exchange for comfort. You’ll think you’re being cared for, when in reality is, you’re being kept.”
Powerful words and she is 100% correct.
In the immortal words of Ronald Reagan- "The nine most terrifying words in the English language are 'I'm from the government, and I'm here to help.' "
@RyanShead Eww. Who are you to judge how she grieves for her husband? Do you know how she is behind closed doors? You, an asshat, probably has the emotional capacity of a tree stump. Most of us will never understand the pain she is dealing with while still having to raise 2 small children.
@JonathanWiltsh7@JDVance It's hateful words like that, that questions my faith in humanity. So, if you watched any of his debates, you would realize you're that maybe you didn't agree with what he had to say, but it sure didn't make him the things you claim. If anything you're projecting
Real civil rights leaders fight for truth, not power. Charlie Kirk was one of them.
"Charlie Kirk was a civil rights Icon.
Charlie Kirk was a civil rights leader... It's time to call him, Charlie Kirk, a civil rights leader."

@peterbakernyt So, they can't go into the Oval Office or Air Force One, but are still allowed to cover from the briefing room? Not sure what the issue is. Making way for a new age of media is a problem now?
@SenFettermanPA Well, as a resident of PA, I would require a yes vote for these 2 nominees. After all, that's your job as an elected official to vote in our best interests, not yours.
My kids are settling in to the Vice President's official residence, and I just want to say: thank you to the American people.
While we don't own this property, it is a beautiful home for our three little kids. We are grateful, and will take good care of it.
@khargoosh_@Pat_Riot_4547 @TaraBull808 @JohnFetterman Well, i didn't vote for him, and I've had the same damn opinion about his choice of clothes from day 1. So, yeah, it's not new, but it's still disgraceful, in my opinion. Which you are free to disagree with.
@Colleen35142746 @6abc Are you or do you just want something to complain about? She wasn't when they started. But if you need something to bitch & complain about about to feel good, have at it.
