Microsoft confirms it's finally replacing decades-old legacy UI with WinUI on Windows 11.

The company said that the new File Explorer Properties dialog was rebuilt in WinUI3. It is not a reskinned Win32 dialog. Instead, it's a proper native rebuild with dark mode, modern controls, and no WebView2 shell.

The Properties dialog traces back to the Windows 95-era property sheet system. It has been sitting next to modern Windows 11 surfaces for years, making the OS feel unfinished.

Microsoft says more Windows UI will move to WinUI3 next.

For example, File copy is already rewritten. Run got a modern version. The old “Switch to a local account” dialog is on the list, and the Start menu is also becoming fully native.

현재는 아직 페스 기간도 아닌 무료연 지급 기간이긴 하지만 애초에 블아는 이제 페스라고 무조건 1위를 하는 체급의 게임은 아니게 됨
