@lori_sull Social distancing can be advantageous. If small businesses use social media to show how they have implemented social distancing and how they are helping the community, then it can garner a lot of traffic. Saws BBQ could be posting more about their social distancing.#UAB401
@chernly23 @lori_sull I agree that I don’t think it’ll beat traditional ads. I do think it can beat TV since I think that TV, as we know it, won’t be a thing one day. I also think the products that the podcaster has tried are the most effective ads. #UAB401
@lori_sull I don’t know if podcast will ever surpass things like radio. I believe it can pass TV since that’s a dying medium anyways. Radio will always be there even if it turns into Spotify. The most effective advertisements are ones that the people on the podcast have tried and recommend.
@JananAwwad @lori_sull @instagram@getinkbox@Inkbox@getinkbox is a good example. I like how you say that Instagram shouldn’t try to compete with tiktok. They can try to improve some things but Instagram should know that they are the dominant picture sharing platform while tiktok is videos. #UAB401
@lori_sull @instagram The fashion brand @hm utilizes Instagram well by sharing their customers outfit posts with links to the products on their website. This drives sales and allows customers to see the clothing authentically. Tiktok lacks the ability to tag specific items in this way. #UAB401
@SosebeeSydney @lori_sull Businesses on Tik Tok are a great example of using what you have to market your business. I see places all the time on there showing how they cook at there restaurant.
@lori_sull The #nba set a great example for how businesses and sports should be running right now. They set up a bubble in #WaltDisneyWorld to complete their season. They had no confirmed cases during 3 months. This built brand credibility as well as being its own advertisement.#UAB401
