@watten1 @pritipatel It's Portuguese, coming from their word for quince (marmelo) and marmelada (a preserve made from quince. It was the French who started calling that marmalade, closely followed by the British. Over time, we started using other fruit but kept the name.

I was given a piece of metal type while there - a letter T, if I recall. Lost the bugger in a house move decades ago, and am still annoyed.

@ronmanagernottm One of my very early memories is of taking a model helicopter my dad had built and dropping it out of my parent's bedroom window to see if it would fly.

It didn't, but the rotors span round as it fell.

To my ~3 or 4 year old mind, the crash was like something from Thunderbirds.

@GrappleClips Landel is one of those guys that I loathed to see, despising absolutely everything he ever did.

Pretty much the only guy to beat him in that regard is Jeff Jarrett.

Both are sorta the Anti-Arn Anderson or Bobby Eaton, who I hated in a Boo! Hiss! fashion, but loved to watch.
