If you are an organ donor in California and you removed yourself at the DMV to get rid of your pink dot on your license, you are not really removed

🚨 This woman’s friend tired to remove herself. An accident happened, she was clinically declared brain dead and because she wasn’t fully removed from the system the hospital took all her organs and her bones

The family tired to fight it, even showing her current ID that the pink dot had been removed, but because she didn’t take the extra step to remove her as a donor in the secondary system she was still listed as an organ donor

Because of this, the family couldn’t fight it and was their daughter was harvested against their will
