3 years is absolutely enough time to completely transform your life and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise
Can make staggeringly large changes in that timeframe
If you start making serious changes today, you’ll be a completely different person on Jun 16, 2029
We desperately need better ways of evaluating models. Something that shows how helpful they are at working hand-in-hand with humans to help them get stuff done in a cooperative/iterative way.
The Claude models have consistently been better at this, and the market rewards that.
All the happiest people I know:
- don’t live in NYC/SF
- don’t work w-2 in tech/finance
- still make a ton of money
Lot of ways to live life. If you find yourself in the NYC/SF finance/tech hamster wheel, it doesn’t have to be that way
Never allow yourself to fall for the idea that you are done if you don't make it in your 20s
It only leads to operating out of panic (short-term thinking)
30s are massively better if you set up your foundation right and have the energy (+ drive) to do what others are not
The problem with a career
Is the credibility you build is not public.
You work for years. You solve hard problems.
Your colleagues think you're a real G.
But none of it transfers to anything new.
Losing game in 2026.
- make enough money so that you never have to worry about it again
- great group of family and friends
- in good shape
- 2-3 activities you really like doing
Everything else people yap about on here pretty much completely pointless
🛠️ New release out today! This one is focused on tech debt and AI tooling, geting python dependencies up to the latest versions, and extending and improving the agent skills library.
You tell Claude Code to build a todo app.
I tell Claude Code to read ancient esoteric texts to compile tables of correspondences and build software to calculate planetary gematria.
We are not the same.
The VCs didn’t just stop pump and dumping after crypto. They’re doing it again but its harder to realize because there’s no financial transparency. LLMs are kinda like EVMs, agents are DeFi and L2s, and e.g. OpenClaw is a novel shitcoin. They’re playing you.
2003 might be the best year to be born.
2008 - you avoid losing everything
2013 - internet everywhere (10yr old net lord)
2020 - every gen struggled to finish school you did it over Zoom
2021 - world goes remote (gives you a taste of your future)
2025 - never been easier to win
- make enough money so that you never have to worry about it again
- great group of family and friends
- in good shape
- 2-3 activities you really like doing
Everything else people yap about on here pretty much completely pointless
What people don't get is that running a business is actually fun
Make changes, watch number go up. Every year the systems work better and life gets easier
Growing a business is imposing your will on the world and you get rewarded with satisfaction and a lot of money
