Remember in 2022 everyone talking about how Elon way overpaid for twitter. When SpaceX IPOs this month those shares will be worth 8.75x. An 850% return in 4 years not too bad.
🔥 Hot Take:
The people who actually win from AI won't be the people who spend the most time using it or crafting the best prompts.
It will be the fastest "shippers"
The real edge comes from:
- Speed of iteration
- Taste & judgement of what "good" actually looks like
- Building publically to attract opportuity
- Leveraging tools to develop actual products that can produce real revenue
Spending days crafting prompts and watching tutorials is a strategy that never works
There's a lot of negativity being directed towards AI espically among creatives.
What would be the result of being able to speak to any and all of your favorite sci-fi characters for an infinite amount of time about anything you wonder? How about being able to sit down and ask any question to the greatest investors of all time?
Way more innovation, way more creativity.
As models scale, they will able to cutivate the same experience as standing directly next to any human, character, or place on earth-- whenever and with whoever you want.
A full VR like experience powered entirely by AI would take around 216kWh per hour. If every American used such technology for 1 hour a day, every day of the year, requires an additional 26,805,600,000,000tWh or roughly an additional 85% of currently produced energy.
The energy used fear mongering data centers consuming too much energy would be far better redirected towards figuring the much needed solution that solves sustainably scaling energy production.
