@RalphyHeraldSun They also took Greg Williams from Sydney and he won a premiership, norm smith and a second Brownlow whilst there (should have been three).
@didtheswanswin Sydney was one quarter from a grand final and lost (deservably) to Freo and then Freo was one quarter of a quarter from being Premiers. To win the whole damn thing you have to play to the line.
@TrevDonaldson Yup. It did have the precision of TV timeouts and time abound for naps without repercussions and it did have the violence of non cyclists being wildly frustrated of being made to wear helmets and spandex. How can AFL compete. (Pay me $5k and I will change my opinion).
@cricketcomau@Westpac That’s cricket. As my Pop once said “When youre in form you can edge it between the slips for a scratchy fifty & when you are shit out of form you can get out LBW with an inside edge your Nan would hear at deep mid wicket for a f’ing duck .. but that’s why we love cricket boy”.
@MichaelVaughan I don’t give a shit about twitter heroes. You can all jog off. 2005 was the best ashes series ever. We lost but it was amazing. Cricket is about sportsmanship & competing & humility. Great to see that fight from England today and thanks for the sportsmanship Michael (as always)
@Nozza_ Cool thanks! Above is a photo of the last time the English made something & didn’t make excuses for how shit it was! (& no one knows what the hell it was) I’m joking … Be proud man your team fought today . Life is short. It’s a game. Chill out. Love to all who love cricket.
@Aryan42832Goel When I played cricket you could read what type of a person your teammate was by how they acted in the field chasing leather all day in the heat and under pressure … I now have your measure too.
@homelander_yyy Nope. Banksy in Yass scored 199 in a 40 over game on a synthetic pitch at O’Conner Oval on a cloudy day with sticks & bottle tops everywhere that Don or Sachin could never of handled. (He was also hungover & never adjusted his leather belt around his gray Nichol whites once).
