@vllstephens based on last year's point totals, $9-11M should buy average of an 85 point player. $8M buys 80, $7M buys 55, $6M buys 63 $5M buys 55. I used points normalized to 82 games. Stats and cap hits pulled from @CapFriendly.

But it helps me to determine my expectations for players and to see that there is significant diminishing return on points. I see Parise as under the ave, but still 65-70 if healthy
