I guess I should be clear, right out of the gate, for anybody curious:
I'm generally ambivalent, morally speaking, to things that happen in fiction. There are certain niche "degenerate" things that I have a vested interest in, others i despise, but generally I just don't care.

this is something often used by companies because creating a job listing can involve a lot of internal paperwork and approvals, so by doing this, they don't have to wait to post it

@metalblade616 i think most problems with retro games discourse come down to people not acknowledging this context and the fact that most people who do don't acknowledge that things like this is also why so many people do not like a lot of retro games

The purpose of it is to have more people doing distinct roles so things move more efficiently, while often also having more people to take orders.
Companies are increasingly finding it more cost efficient to have one person do multiple jobs at once instead.
