@LauraMiers In March 2023 my 71 y o husband passed away from unexpected cardiac arrest 3 months after contracting ( long) Covid. No mention of Covid on the death certificate.
@Woden This is heartbreaking. But the uplifting part for those of us who follow your story is that you made the best choices. You focused on your child rather than in economic security. And I have to wonder whether your unwavering support actually helped him heal. Sending love.
@Woden Contact the bank or whoever and explain the situation. Sometimes they can give you a hardship forbearance. They don’t advertise these options. You need to get a real person on the phone and explain
@_FlawlessPage My husband passed away in March. I don’t know why but I struggle a lot at doctors’ offices, car repair places, banks … especially when I have to explain what happened
@burningman stuck in the mud with children? My free story, The Secret Prince, is a read aloud about children stuck by a flood, then mud. I wrote it in early Covid for kids stuck at home. Relevant to all stuck people

@Barbaradee2 @SawyersShari I use Haven as a comp when querying my upper middle grade climate healing novel set in the 2050s. A future setting allows for imagining a system that engages kids in climate healing
@Author_JimGould @AESG91 My 50s housewife mom was never bored. She painted, learned languages, read books. But the crunch times, ( Christmas, vacation organizing, moving to the oh so privileged summer house) we’re as challenging as a job that paid $. And when my dad left her she struggled.
Llama's can help heal the climate. It's science, not fantasy. Looking for opinions: might this hook for my upper middle grade novel be considered high concept?
