Why do people say such weird things?! I’m at a crosswalk w/ the baby in the stroller & some old man pulls up next to us, says “if you get tired of your baby let me know I’d be happy to take her off your hands.” No old man, not something you say

This morning I had to be up incredibly early. The early morning light combined with the cool low humidity air felt all too familiar. I stopped, closed my eyes & for a moment it was as if I was there at the mountain. My soul feels refreshed from that brief pause

So far it's taken me an hour to get to work and I'm not even there yet. I'm a mile away and waze said it'll take me 15 minutes. Work is only usually 10 minutes away. This is what I hate most about nashville.

This is the first time I've ever lived somewhere that I could wake up to snow. So yes I jumped out of bed and ran to the window, literally screamed when I saw everything in a layer of white. I'm like a kid on Christmas morning expect this is more exciting #imfromflorida
