@furlan_mai66776@Genki_JPN For JST I think there have been a few 'spiritual successor' games in recent years, so they're stuck having to make a good sequel rather than a remake, which is a difficult thing.
For SoR - SoR4 is very much the problem. It's easily the best use of a Sega licence in recent years.
If this is all true, and the Heron House (No. 10 North) rental application really was submitted on 11 May 2026, just three days before Joshua Simons resigned as Makerfield MP, it suggests this whole Andy Burnham Labour coup was being planned months in advance.
The building was allegedly already being prepared for Burnham to take over and move the Prime Minister's office to Manchester.
This is pretty incredible if accurate.
At that point, Andy Burnham was still Mayor of Manchester, Makerfield still had an MP in Joshua Simons, and Labour still had a Prime Minister in Keir Starmer.
The whole sequence feels incredibly murky, with plenty of political backstabbing involved. If this timeline is correct, it would also help explain why Burnham appears to have sidelined talented MPs seen as loyal to Starmer, including Darren Jones and Mike Tapp.
@wesstreeting You all knew you were being observed but were still unable to be discrete and professional and decided to joke at the public's expense about releasing some of the worst offenders in our prisons.
Didn't need confirmation, but thanks for exposing your contempt for us.
Before Windows95, before Oasis released Wonder Wall and before OJ Simpson faced trial, our new PM Andy Burnham had a job. He had a job as a journalist working for a little publishing company for 3 years.
This is the only job any of the new UK Government Cabinet has had.
Other than those three years, more than 30 years ago the entire cabinet has only ever worked in tax payer funded roles.
None of them have ever had to make a sale. None of them have been paid to pour a pint. None have felt a sick feeling about making payroll. None have been answerable to investors.
In the UK 50% of the jobs are small businesses and almost ALL of the jobs growth is small businesses. None of them has ever started, owned or run one. Wouldnโt it be nice if just one of them had some experience in making a small business profitably grow before having a crack at the 7th largest economy.
Imagine what it must feel like to KNOW that your wage is paid for by the tax-payer. Imagine the certainty and security working for a government that never fires anyone for anything. Imagine how it would feel knowing you could blow out a budget with no real consequences or you could completely screw up a project and nothing bad would happen. Imagine that level of insulation and comfort for decades.
I canโt. Iโve been in business for the last 25 years. If I donโt sell I donโt eat. If I screw up I face very real consequences very fast. Millions of small businesses are being asked to get out there and hire people and grow the economy by a team of people whoโve never had a proper job. Surely something isnโt right with that?
Andy Burnham is like that 26 year old teacher who wanted to be seen as 'just one of you guys' and sat on the corner of his desk, or sat on his chair the wrong way round and said stuff like: "Yeah, I'll buy that. Cool beans dude" and every single student thought he was a cunt.
When you look past the two tier judiciary, the cost of living increases, the diminished relationship with the US, David Lammy, the failure to implement the Supreme Court ruling on women only spaces, the restarting of the trial of puberty blockers, the closure of 100 private schools, siding with Hamas, the murders of Wayne Broadhurst, Henry Nowak,Rhiannon Whyte, the hosepipe bans, the pissing rain, the appointment of Peter Mandelson, the Chagos Islands surrender, the battle to bring an Egyptian terrorist to the UK and give him citizenship, the prosecution of veterans, the bombing of UK sovereign territory in Cyprus with no response, closure of our last blast furnace, youth unemployment that would shame a Spaniard, the Chinese Embassy being hooked up to MI6s servers, twenty Ministerial resignations, the return of James Corden from the US, Mrs Browns Boys recommissioned, the a303 remaining unwidened, the tax take hitting a record high and still borrowing grew, a third of our electricity coming from foreigners, GB Energy, taxing farmers to suicide, rape gangs being replenished in every town and city, apart from that Lewis it has felt we've just lived through a golden age. You pillock.
This is beyond disgusting.
A millionaire, never worked in the private sector, left school, pregnant at 16....and never went to Uni.
Completely failed at Housing, sacked for tax dodging,
she is a complete and utter idiot.
Shocking, utterly shocking.
This grifter, and she IS totally a grifter, should be nowhere NEAR government.
On Monday, 12 people were arrested over a right wing terrorism threat to a Suffolk Islamic festival.
This was BBC News' top story and led to multiple follow-up articles.
All 12 have now been released with no terrorism charges.
This news doesn't make the top 4 on BBC Suffolk.
