@JoyceDecerce@OrganizerMemes — if you bruise easily and don’t heal you may be low in vit C
— low dose (<3mg) melatonin is best
— probiotic fiber gummy
— zinc + vit C if sick
— liposomal vitamins worked better for me
@JoyceDecerce@OrganizerMemes — not a scam but vet sources
— take only what you need, but know testing isn’t the end all be all as absorption matters too
— moms are right re: CoQ10+omega-3s
— if youre fatigued u may be low in vitamin B or D
jordan (like many other trans louisianans) has had their gender affirming health care taken away by our maga government. they had top surgery scheduled to be completely covered by louisiana medicaid, but the state legislature passed a law blocking medicaid from covering all transition related surgeries. they now have to pay out of pocket. please help out if you are able 💜
@Drew72376298 @dreamslips Hi, nonbinary person here. I was diagnosed with gender dysphoria just like other trans people. I just had top surgery in January. Access to surgery covered by insurance is made possible because of my diagnosis. What you are arguing for would strip healthcare from nonbinary people
we don’t “encourage” others to not be antiblack/queermisic in supposed “safe spaces”. we REQUIRE them to be. so why is REQUIRING the safety of disabled people viewed as “policing”? if you want to be called in/out when you do harm, why do you feel “insulted” when i do? /rhetorical
i will die on the hill that masking & cleaning the air are *crucial* in community care, not “optional”. part of the problem is people don’t see disableism on the same scale as other forms of marginalization. they don’t see it as something that impacts EVERYONE in the “community”.
@dottat1@NoCRTinSchools@EndWokeness taking your q in good faith, if someone already has HIV, they need consistent medication to manage the condition, which costs money. and cutting off access will mean undoing all of that progress overnight. worse, the virus is then more likely to mutate, which WILL affect us
as a bisexual, i can’t believe there’s so much casual biphobia flying around that i have to say this, but it’s okay to be bi. it’s better to be something else, but it’s okay to be bi
@RandomCrapola@tafphorisms@BriannaWu I’m nonbinary, I also have a medical condition. I have a gender dysphoria diagnosis and I’m currently recovering from top surgery. I hope you realize that we are on the same side and that all trans people deserve access to gender affirming care when they need it
@LCurious64354 @tafphorisms@BriannaWu Nonbinary person here. We exp dysphoria too—social, physical, etc. Ive had two surgeries to correct my dysphoria, which I wouldnt have access to w/o having a gender dysphoria diagnosis & being recognized as trans by the medical establishment. Do you think I shouldn’t have access?
@dhurstell@tafphorisms@BriannaWu Bad argument.
Everything in the world is either potatoes or not potatoes. Binary.
Everyone is either blonde or not blonde. New binary.
When ppl are non-binary it clearly refers to the axis of gender. You’re introducing a new axis when it isn’t relevant.
@KarthikForTexas@beorge_gush1 There are plenty of things where, if you implement them without fixing anything first, the implementation is a disaster and it turns people off of the policy for decades. A public option with an entirely broken federal govt is a terrible idea!
My entire scientific career I have been cautioning against climate doomerism. It’s dangerously unhealthy for young people and leads into apathy.
Humanity won on ozone depletion. Much of the world has been successful on acid rain and air pollution. Climate is winnable.
