Part 3. Hospital Tour. The rehabilitation department including occupational therapy, Physiotherapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics closely work with each other to provide services to the community. We understand capacity building is key for these essential services.
Early in the morning we set off from Kampala to Mbarara, Uganda and we had a stop over at the equator. @thewfot President, @theuaot President, Dr Julius Kamwesiga, Scovia Matema and I headed for the cause of starting an OT Bachelor's degree program in Uganda.
Part 2. We arrived at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) where we engaged the University team both leadership, academics, and hospital to negotiate our cause. They welcomed the proposal and further discussions will go forward.

Let me extend my appreciation to Elizabeth Casson Trust (ECT) for this award and now the newsletter that appeared on the WFOT website https://t.co/r8hCEhOy9m.
I sometimes feel I haven't done enough in my capacity but I always keep my guards high and promote OT.
I am pleased to be selected as a Trainer of Trainees (ToT) for the Clinical teaching and Mentoring Training Program under the Rehabilitation Community. I am one of the OT representatives for Uganda. It will be a blessing to share knowledge.
@OTinretirement @HistoryOt@ElizabethCasso1@otsamantha@OTEuroMSc@HassanKato19@opendidavid It's indeed an opportunity to have these opportunities come our way. It means a lot for our profession and me.
The OTs in Uganda and https://t.co/BA1CaW9UWs long for this kind of support to achieve OT education at different levels.
Master's Studies Award - I am super excited to announce that I am a Master's Studies recipient by Elizabeth Casson Trust. I will be studying for the European Masters in OT. Thank you so much

Elizabeth Casson Trust strongly supports OT development worldwide through different projects. It supported my BSc OT and I'm grateful it's done the same for the OT Masters Program. Another journey in my studies. @ElizabethCasso1@otsamantha @OTinretirement @HistoryOt@OTEuroMSc
This award came at a time I didn't expect it. I am very grateful for the recognition towards my inputs in the development of OT in Uganda and around the world. The ongoing projects will elevate OT education, research & evidence-based practice through lots of collaboration.
