Codex is an amazing code reviewer, especially Astra. Not only does it often flag the bugs in the other agents' code bases, but also creates the fixtures needed to reproduce it.
A better prompt won't fix a missing evidence workspace.
If the agent starts from a screenshot and a vibe, it will invent a plausible app.
If it starts from what actually shipped — routes, assets, requests, contracts — it has something to disagree with.
That is the whole thesis
Shipped software is not source code.
A working app can outlive its repository — vendor gone, hotfixes never committed, build that doesn't match production.
Ownership recovery starts by admitting those are different surfaces.
