WOW.
Anyone who saw Germany’s training session on Tuesday will know just how intense it was.
Jürgen Klopp and Pep Lijnders reunited, and the energy was absolutely relentless.
Once the activation phase finished, both coaches were completely hands on, driving the session and demanding more from every action.
Klopp was not messing about with his messaging.
Fast attacking football.
PRESS. PRESS. PRESS.
Then GO. GO. GO.
Win it back and attack the goal immediately.
Direct. Aggressive. Relentless.
No possession without purpose with Klopp!
Very easy to see why he is held in such high regard by Liverpool fans.
Maurizio Sarri came too early, if you watch almost every modern manager today, they cut their cloth from Sarri Tactical football and modernized it.
One-two touches only. Ball moves faster than defenders. Short triangles (full-back + mezzala + winger) bait the press, then a vertical or third-man pass breaks the line.
High intensity, constant off-ball movement, no standing still. Pivot sets the tempo. Possession is a weapon to attract pressure then explode forward — not tiki-taka for its own sake.
The style demands technically secure, high-work-rate players who can press, receive under pressure, and play first-time. When it clicks it looks like liquid football: the ball never stops and the opponent is constantly disoriented. When the press is poorly coordinated or the first touch is slow, the high line becomes exposed.
🧠💡 Cesc Fábregas completed his UEFA A Licence with the PFA back in 2023.
This is the start of his coaching journey with the Arsenal youth team. The insight levels are off the charts.
Finished strong. Grateful to God. 🙏🏽⚽️
What a journey it has been , the challenges, the sacrifices, the lessons, the moments I almost gave up, and the grace that kept me moving. Today, I can only look back and say THANK YOU, LORD. 🙌🏽
I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

🚨EXCL: Olawale Oluwaseyi to Kano Pillars academy as new head coach.

🚨 Matthias Jaissle has wasted NO time, the new manager is straight into action on the training ground at Newcastle United.
Jaissle worked as an assistant at Brøndby before coaching Salzburg’s Under 18s and FC Liefering. He then won two Austrian league titles with RB Salzburg before moving to Al Ahli for a reported big contract offer.
From his first session at Newcastle, the message was clear:
Starting from the basics first
✅ Take pride in defending
✅ Be aggressive in 1v1 duels
✅ Compete for everything
✅ Press together, not individually
During possession drills, Jaissle constantly demanded that the team move as one.
The moment one player pressed, everyone around him had to close the space immediately.
He’s starting with the basics, but the identity out of possession is already obvious: Very aggressive in duels. Organised. Competitive.

I got a lot of messages from people and most of them are asking me why I haven't considered COACHING.
My answer as always been the same because I don't think I have the brain capacity to do the day to day tasks like planning trainings, making sure players understand what coaches want from them and the patient.
I know coaching is not a joke because you get to deal with 20-25 players daily and some of them have some weird personalities that you have to also deal with. But the major stress comes from
Performing and the pressure from the club hierarchies.
I have seen coaches lose their minds, hair, some don't even sleep well at night because of the stress that comes with the job. Also spending a lot of time away from your family can be the hardest part of the job.
I find pleasure in looking after players, mentoring, and management and I think that comes from not having it myself when I started my career.
So to all the coaches out there doing an amazing job and making sure these players improve everyday and I know the most fulfilling part is to see these players playing Europe one day.
I SAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!
