We just got the 2nd place at the finals of the @hackthebox_eu Worldwide #Universities#CTF! Not only for our team, #INSSec and our University, University of West Attica, but also representing #Greece, being the only Greek team that made it to the finals!

I never said there aren't going to be privacy or security issues with the use cases of such a technology. Going out and calling people names without first having a conversation to see what one's actual views on a topic are is not very constructive.
Cybersecurity should be the #1 priority of such a system as an adversary with access to an active BCI system could wreck havoc to one's reality. Access to a passive one could give him access to an unparalleled amount of information.
I believe we should be extra careful with how we handle some things when it comes to BCI, especially active ones, as they will eventually be able to shape one's reality. Passive ones still need a lot of attention as they provide a very detailed view into one's mind, creating a major privacy concern.
The telephone had wiretapping. The internet has all it's privacy and security concerns. Saying we shouldn't develop a technology because there might be issues is counterproductive. The solution is having a deep conversation during the early stages of development on how to resolve those before they arise. Or else we're gonna live in a dystopia pretty soon. @elonmusk
This is fantastic news for individuals facing neurological challenges. As this technology becomes safer and more proven, accelerating its adoption is crucial to unlock its vast potential for improving lives and advancing humanity. The possibilities are endless. Exciting times ahead! π
