@InfernoOmni@CONEY Feel there is a large difference between “zoner with a whole kit designed in a way where you have to learn to deal with it” and “dick head who is spamming 3 options that are so good he does not have a need for the rest of his kit”
@ptoughkneigh The identity is not their “brand name”, it was just the easiest way to refer to them, and so acting as if their last name plus a gender modifier is a “brand” is extremely reductive of them as people. They are identified by the Wachowski name, not their gender.
@ptoughkneigh@gtbot2007@CStickernoodle once again, that’s not something that I said. I said that if you do want to refer to their transition, refer to them as sisters while saying that they transitioned.
@toonydanni@ptoughkneigh@gtbot2007@CStickernoodle Amazing lack of reading comprehension on their part to read what I said and then say that something I deemed not necessary as “necessary because I said so”
@ptoughkneigh@gtbot2007@CStickernoodle Read the thread, I said if you feel the need to clarify you should not refer to them as “brothers” while doing so, and you should refer to them as sisters while saying something like “yes they transitioned” to clarify to the viewer without bringing up that past identity.
@Balefulgiggi I agree with the sentiment they shared of not wanting people to do this, but the phrasing is awful and 100% shouldn’t be defended because everyone knows that calling someone transphobic is a heavy claim no matter the words you surround it with
@gtbot2007@CStickernoodle or when clarifying that info to people who otherwise don’t know that. It’s like referring to a gay person like they were straight at one point. It would be better to just call them sisters, but if you wanted to clarify you would probably just say “yes they transitioned” (2/3)
