Radheetu billaahi Rabban, wa bil-'Islaami deenan, wa bi-Muhammadin (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallama) Nabiyyan.
I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion and with Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as my Prophet.
What’s the longest road trip you’ve ever done in the UK?
I’ll go first: “I drove 5 hours from my house to Cornwall and returned the same day 😅
Now I’m thinking about another trip to Edinburgh… that’s going to be around 6–7+ hours on the road.”
MOT today. £39 to prove my car is roadworthy. £270 for two new tyres. Old ones have plenty of tread but have developed cracks through being constantly battered by potholes. Road Tax due 1st April £195. Diesel now £1.53. Roads not fit for purpose. Where is OUR money going??
Test your pot with this method to be sure you’re not been poisoned.
Our first purchase was our place. All the set, we did the pot test and found out it didn’t pass.
So we bought @saladmaster in slide 2.
How to test if your pot is safe to use
1.Clean the pot thoroughly.
2.Add bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) and water into the pot.
3.Boil for 15 minutes, then allow it to cool.
4.Taste the water.
Separately, mix baking soda (or bicarbonate of soda) with water in a normal cup and let it sit.
Both should taste the same.
• If the water from the pot tastes bitter, it means the pot may be releasing toxins into your food. Dispose of the pot.
• If it tastes the same as the cup mixture, then the pot is safe and not releasing toxins.
