🌿 A warm invitation to my upcoming course! 🌿
Over the past year, I’ve poured my heart into developing this course on #neurodivergence and #health - bringing together research from both #neurodivergent and neuro-majority researchers while weaving in my own lived experiences.
I had the pleasure of delivering a keynote at @ASfAR_autism Online Showcase Event 2025: Career Trajectories & Autistic-Led Autism Research by Autistic Researchers.I loved sharing my talk, answering questions, and connecting with their members.Appreciated the positive feedback🙏🩵
A qualitative analysis by @kanabaletti@annaremington@LauraMayCrane found that autistic adults face a conflict between balancing their desire for social connection with their limited energy for engaging in social experiences.

I’m grateful for the privilege of reviewing papers by Japanese researchers - but so many still say things like “Autism Spectrum Disorder” or “they are impaired in…”. When I propose research to address these outdated views, I’m told it would “make Japan look bad.” Such injustice.
