[We Cannot Lose More Girls to Deepfake Crimes]

A student at Jinkwang School, located in Wonju-si, Gangwon-do, reported that deepfake crimes are seriously occurring among the male students, with more than 10 victims so far.

Jinkwang School (a middle and high school complex) was recently converted from an all-boys school to a coed school, so there are more boys than girls. Recently, deepfake pornography using images of the girls has been spreading among the high school students.

Due to this, one of female student is refusing to go to school and she is now mentally unstable that even she this serious suicidal tendencies.

However, Jinkwang School has covered up the incident. As this school is located in a rural area, this issue has not gotten any attention. No press or media is investigating or broadcasting yet.

There are many senior students involved in this crime, and the school authorities try not to investigate or look into it, worrying about how this impacts them for the University entrance exam. In Korea, University entrance exams are considered as almost a matter of life or death. Because of this, the school is not thoroughly investigating the incident, worrying instead about how it might impact their seniors' college admissions.

We need your help to share this. We cannot lose more girls to these horrible incidents.
