Key highlights from Shri Kumar’s address are:

➡️Government has already enabled 38,000 GPUs at subsidized rates for innovators and is setting up 500 AI labs mostly in Tier-II and Tier-III cities to democratize access to compute power and tools.
➡️Under the Future Skills Programme, AI education and training will be provided to 1 million individuals, primarily from smaller cities, embedding AI literacy at the grassroots.
➡️Platforms like Bhashini and new initiatives with IIT Bombay aim to cover 22+ languages and hundreds of dialects, with upcoming hackathons and targeted programs (including for youth and women) to build regional AI solutions.
➡️India will host the 4th Global AI Summit – “AI Impact Summit” in February 2026 themed People, Planet, and Progress, inviting global participation to shape the future of AI collaboratively.
