I've worked at a nonprofit haunted house for 12 years, so my Octobers are usually booked solid, but there was an event yesterday I could make before makeup call and decided to wear my Ash cosplay. ❤️ It was a blast!

- learned to write dialogue by doing text based rp on Neopets and became a writer
- knew my great-grandmother who came to the US from Sicily
- became a haunt actor in 2010 and learned SFX makeup there

As an autistic person, I LOVE explanations; I always like to know the “why”. I see explanations as reasons, not excuses. They help me see where people are coming from. I don’t get upset or annoyed when people do something wrong and explain why - I’m glad to know their intentions.

@AuthorKaraJ 100%. I used to think it was just me being "weird" or cynical, so I gave bad vibes the benefit of the doubt and ended up ignoring big red flags, only to have my gut feeling proven correct later. Every. Time. My social relatedness isn't great but I know I can smell a rat now.
