At last night’s special council meeting (the one where they *banned* bike lanes all the way to New Hartford & voted to make 16ft wide lanes on Genesee)… 10+ ppl spoke at public comment in favor of Complete Streets & bike lanes — because *they want them*.

It apparently wasn’t well received from some council members.

Ahh, yes. Utica Democratic mayoral candidate Frank DiBrango pushed for this. Because he doesn't understand how bike lanes work and that it's a fundamental safety measure. 🙄
