Helldivers fans -- we’ve heard your feedback on the Helldivers 2 account linking update. The May 6 update, which would have required Steam and PlayStation Network account linking for new players and for current players beginning May 30, will not be moving forward.

@TheRocketRalph I understand your point, but the problem is that bad actors would just find ways around it. You could easily just install a 3rd party camera app without this shutter sound "feature" and then the people around you may have a false sense of security.

@cxzdeer @nixcraft @turnoff_us Well it should make all your traffic appear as if you are just communicating with your vpn, but at the end of the day you are still on a very dangerous wifi network. In most cases iirc they are not just trying to look at your packets, but actually hack your machine.

@sondesix Seems like for quite a few devs, the android version of apps is an afterthought, although the gaps are usually filled by custom clients with extra features. Also many things don't "just work" they require a bit of work from the user, but the result is always far cooler.

@lewisjdoyle I use linux and kde connect on android. It bridges the gap and lets me do all the things i need to do. For those looking for an easy way to send files across devices. Warpinator and CROC are probably the best in my experience, along with being completely crossplatform

@D8J_US @discord Hey the support reply doesnt seem very helpful, maybe try turning hdr off on windows if it isnt already turned off. Ive noticed that discord streaming and hdr dont play nice.

@mrdoob I daily drive linux, but some days i hope on winblows to play valo with the boys. I have had more complete system freezes and crashes due to valorant than any other piece of "software" ever.
