After NJZ submitted a USB to the court, ADOR’s side, represented by Kim & Chang, immediately threw up a “procedural issue.”

According to a legal expert:

“In an appellate review (항고심), the court typically relies only on the records and arguments presented during the preliminary injunction. If new evidence is suddenly submitted, Kim & Chang would naturally raise a ‘procedural issue.’

But here’s the nuance:

If that USB contains evidence that only became available after the preliminary injunction, the court might make an exception and accept it. On the other hand, if it looks like the evidence was available back then and was somehow just intentionally withheld? That’s a red flag. So the court’s job is to figure out whether submitting that USB was even procedurally legit. That’s what ADOR is pushing them to review.

Then comes the real question: is what’s inside the USB actually important enough to sway the outcome?

If both boxes get checked, clean procedure and strong evidentiary weight, the court can choose to accept it.

And from the looks of it, that USB is packing some serious heat.
