@richroberts76@RETSDschools Congratulations, @richroberts76!!! Thanks for helping me grow through the many PDs I was lucky enough to attend that you led/co-led. All the best to you!
@asymagic@KulyMarc@uwinnipeg Thank you so much @asymagic! I of course, owe you my gratitude too, for taking a chance on me, and being such a great mentor! 😊
As our grant comes to an end this week I am truly grateful for how this grant has changed our school, and provided so much for the children who visit our library every day. #IndigoLOR
First time trying “yarn painting” with various classes from grades 1 to 6 this week! Kids enjoyed the medium in this context, and I learned alongside them. Learning truly is lifelong for us all!
@msrussellWSD Haha! I didn’t get pics of all the classes to show samples of all grades, but here are some of yours! I also felt bad because these don’t include C’s. Next time, I would use thicker wool for grade 1! 😄
So the sad news is accurate. The MB Ed library (CSC) is closing on Monday, April 1. Very sad day for teachers and students (and homeschooling families) who rely on the resources -- books, dvds, braille and audio books. Devastating loss esp for rural and northern divisions.
Yes, Google Earth is great, but I’ve never seen any activity with a good old-fashioned globe cease to engage! We were learning about Canada, but one often reluctant learner was pretty excited to “teach” his peers about the Great Wall of China he discovered on his own! 😊#inquiry
