this week, i wrote a blurb for every doujinshi i bought at manga ichiba, the first american doujinshi-only event. this post is over 6k words, which doesn't seem possible, but i hope it gives back just a little love to all the doujinka who were there at fanime.

Thank you so much for writing this!! I'm really happy that you were able to pick up our oneshot manga and stop by our table. I've always felt like I was the one admiring other designer/artist who work with the medium of print and paper, never expected someone to say that about my work. Hearing that genuinely means so much to me!! Our OC manga was made under a very tight schedule I really hope we’ll be able to create something with even more content and depth next time. Thank you again!!! Wah!!😭🤲
@pepperonccini We’ll probably print a few more, and there’s a good chance we’ll bring them to ANYC!! Honestly, this one is super short, so please don’t feel sad😭💕 But yea!!
Can’t believe we sold out at a one-day event, I’m honestly super surprised! In the morning, it really felt like doujin events in Asia. Thank you to everyone who came!
Even more surprising is how many people like Colton and Elliot🥹 Thank you all so much!!
@Tomato_bird It really did… lived in SF for over 10 years before moving to Seattle, if I were still there, I’d love to do artist hangouts and bring all the doujin I’ve collected to share. I bet a lot of others would enjoy that too!!
Yo guys I have no idea what’s going on but San Jose gave us the craziest allergic reaction not even just the usual pollen/dust stuff, my entire face broke out in a rash, and my friend’s skin got super itchy too… what the hell is in the air here…
