@konoyatsu Thanks, I'm glad you could enjoy it. I imagine the shield can feel cumbersome at first for some people because you already have to control movement and shooting separately, then add a third mechanic on top of that. But with a bit of practice it adds a layer of strategy

About a week after release, Hong Kong 2097 has sold around 60 copies on Itchio, and I would truly like to thank those who gave it a chance. Yeah, it's a small number compared to what could have happened on Steam, but it also exceeded my expectations. So seriously, thank you

I checked the metadata on Hong Kong 2097 and of the 8 reviews, 6 are five stars and 2 are one star. Somehow that makes me think I've accomplished what I set out to do

Rejected by Steam and DLsite, ignored by GOG, embraced (?) by Itchio. Hong Kong 2097 is finally available to download. Chin returns with a new holy mission: obliterate the Amurikkkans.
