JumpyFeller

I don't want any followers.
May not look it, but I adore Japanese arcade action games, chiefly the STG.

@TKbreezy Oh you are going to KILL it at that job. You have crazy charisma.
(Cosplay Infernus please)

[JumpyFeller @JumpyFeller]

@TheAziH There are a lot more Japanese artists that draw big asses (and not what Nier or Nikke fans call big) than people expect.

@Rinartts You are.

[JumpyFeller @JumpyFeller]

@GRIP2_CRE Turning felt like it was meant for digital inputs and made slight adjustments needless twitchy. Was this ever addressed?

@George_9998 @Plasma_Legion Didn't this person say the only good female character in gaming was Vertigo from Primal Rage?

Yesterday was an interesting day, seeing my work go viral through piracy. Something I've supported as a way for struggling artists to find an audience outside their reach.

As a result, I sold far more digital-copies than I ever had before. Some further thoughts on the matter:

[JumpyFeller @JumpyFeller]

@BladerLBM They actually believe it was a hardware limitation...
We really have people that truly believe design is this linear. We had moving and shooting in 3D with Super Nintendo Doom ports. But the XBox 360, home of Halo and Gears, apparently was not capable enough to allow it in RE.

[JumpyFeller @JumpyFeller]

@lisboas_lucas @NoelBatma "Limitation"

[JumpyFeller @JumpyFeller]

@Jiikae I'm so glad railshooters exploded out of nowhere with quality (not StarFox) because this was such a pleasant surprise.

[JumpyFeller @JumpyFeller]

@Shamaboy11 3D platformers have some of the worst bosses ever.

[Oathless Vagrant @FogborneHeir]

The main issue is that "player expression" isn't something to be forced into your game for its own sake, it simply arises naturally with good design. There's plenty of "expression" to be done in a game like Megaman, shmups, etc despite those games being relatively restrictive

[JumpyFeller @JumpyFeller]

@neko_neko_R Our AAA games suck and the companies behind them are generally awful.
Valve is probably the only one with any good will left.

[JumpyFeller @JumpyFeller]

@TheSunnyFields Do you work for Namco?

[JumpyFeller @JumpyFeller]

It really is that simple. You largely beat piracy by providing something that is more appealing, readily available, and a fair ask. It's literally that cut and dry.

[JumpyFeller @JumpyFeller]

@jojogiogio1234 No actually.

[JumpyFeller @JumpyFeller]

I think about the marketing hype of this when I was a kid and how the game appears in no discussion afterward.

No good game, bad game, or hidden gems talk despite the scope. It was just hyped up, released, then silence for the next 20 years.
Might give it a spin one day.
