According to USDA NASS for the week ending in July 5.1, 2026, there was 5.1 days suitable for fieldwork.
🌾Winter wheat harvested was 91%, ahead of 78% last year and 74% for the
five-year average.
🌾Topsoil moisture supplies rated 4% very short, 16% short, 65% adequate, and 15% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 6% very short, 18% short, 66% adequate, and 10% surplus.

🌾Winter wheat mature was 98%, ahead of 91% last year and 86% for the
five-year average. Harvested was 72%, well ahead of 48% last year and 52% average.
🌾Topsoil moisture supplies rated 4% very short, 10% short, 58% adequate, and 28% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 7% very short, 14% short, 65% adequate, and 14% surplus.

According to @usda_nass for the week ending in June 14, 2026, winter wheat coloring was 95%, ahead of 86% last year and 84%for the five-year average. Mature was 83%, well ahead of 35% last year and 40% average. Harvested was 28%, well ahead of 3% last year and 8% average.
