Sabriye does amazing work and @kanthari is an organisation I am proud to support in my constituency. They have trained social entrepreneurs brilliantly. Well worth listening to this courageous woman on @SmitaTharoor’s podcast!
This was so fast-moving & fascinating. I had never considered how much more a blind person can see compared to many sighted people. Clearly my own #UnconsciousBias to forget about that rich inner life which illuminates & enlightens. Thank you, Sabriye & Smita!
Is Blindness a bad word? Do we have to say visually challenged instead? Sabriye Tenberken says she isn’t visually challenged -she’s #blind which makes her challenged in a different way in the way she uses her brain. https://t.co/0NF3FyAuEU @Kantharis#unconsciousbias
Sabriye Tenberken lost her sight when she was 12, but she did not lose her vision. Watch the inspiring story of overcoming obstacles. https://t.co/NuyiBws8C5 via @YouTube@kantharis@AKPPL_Official@PKronenberg Credits to Sai Sethu
