‼️ NRF , AFF, Homeland Front... and after the Green Beret Warriors, now another group has emerged in Kabul that will carry out armed resistance against the Taliban. It’s called the 'People's Democratic Fronts'.

The Taliban are falling apart among different groups in Afghanistan, and their grip on Afghanistan is weakening.

These groups are highly active, claiming 19 attacks across nine provinces in just 10 days, and even briefly seizing a district center in Badakhshan—the first such loss of territory for the Taliban since 2021.

What will the coming situation in Afghanistan be like? Will it create conditions similar to those of the 1990s civil war? Or will the Taliban disappear back into the mountains.

Province-Wise FBR Tax Collection & NFC Distribution (FY 2025–26)

Pakistan's total FBR tax collection reached PKR 13.01 trillion in FY 2025–26.

Tax Contribution

• Punjab: 51.9%
• Sindh: 30.9%
• KP: 10.8%
• Balochistan: 2.8%

Punjab and Sindh together contribute over 82% of the country's tax collection, reflecting the concentration of economic activity in these two provinces.

Under the NFC Award, 57.5% (PKR 7.48 trillion) of the divisible pool is transferred to the provinces based on constitutional criteria to support balanced regional development, while 42.5% (PKR 5.53 trillion) remains with the Federation.

The figures also highlight the importance of accelerating industrialisation, investment and economic formalisation in KP and Balochistan to broaden Pakistan's tax base and promote more balanced economic growth.
