He suffered from Friday to Monday morning… then died in his family’s arms at home.

This is Kenya in 2026.

Children are still dying from snakebites in remote areas while antivenom sits locked away or simply doesn’t exist where it’s needed most.

How many more young lives must we bury before the government treats this like the emergency it is?!

President William Ruto is set to unveil a new police uniform on Friday, with General Duty officers expected to start wearing it from Monday.

According to the Inspector General of Police, Douglas Kanja, the change follows recommendations from a 2023 public participation exercise in which police officers rejected the current navy-blue uniform.

The new uniform is expected to improve officers’ morale and, ultimately, service delivery.
