The way live-in relationships are looked down upon in India is genuinely frustrating.

You're two consenting adults, earning your own money, willing to pay rent, and somehow landlords still have a problem with you living together.

But get a marriage certificate and suddenly everything is fine? Same two people, same apartment, same relationship. Just one piece of paper and society decides you're respectable now.
And the funniest part is how people assume live-in couples are having sex 24/7, but the moment you get married, the same people expect you to produce a kid in the next 27 seconds.

So sex before marriage is a scandal, but sex after marriage is apparently a national responsibility?
Why is everyone so obsessed with what two adults do in their own home? I'm literally just trying to rent an apartment, not get my relationship approved by a housing society.

It's genuinely ridiculous how much of our personal lives we're expected to justify to complete strangers.
