@GuyCreditcard@Bloomindraonfly@yur10@nasdaily@EllaTravelsLove No, it was a big trading port until 1150 CE
Crusaders came and fortified Gaza to cut off Egyptian king Fatimid access to the Levant. Akko&Jaffa port replaced them.
Sultan Baybar came and destroyed what's left of the ports of Gaza and Ashkelon to prevent future Crusader fleet.
@yur10@GuyCreditcard@nasdaily@EllaTravelsLove Wrong. image shows he’s only 7.7% Peninsular Arab. He’s mostly Egyptian & Levantine.
That Arab Peninsula DNA marker actually only means he’s highly likely to be a Muslim Egyptian, as Egyptian Christians (Copts) have 0% Arab Peninsula mix due to centuries of isolation.
@GuyCreditcard@yur10@nasdaily@EllaTravelsLove Sorry, but most Israeli's aren't from Ukraine, but are from Arab countries.
11% Pre-48 Native
35% Mizrahi (Morocco, Iraq, Yemen)
21% Arab (Muslim, Druze, Bedouin)
15% Post-Soviet (Russia, Ukraine)
11% Western Ashkenazi (Poland, USA)
2% Persian (Iran, Afghan)
2% Ethiopian

@Luigi2918@VerminusM@NiohBerg The reason Kurdistan has no country or state:
Divided across Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Syria, Kurdish land lacks unified borders or a sovereign government, leaving millions as a stateless nation.
No one can ever recognize them without sparking a regional conflict.
@Luigi2918@VerminusM@NiohBerg I think you misunderstand the concepts of the words
Palestine has a state, but not a nation or a country.
Kurdistan has a nation, but not a state or a country. (Exception: Iraqi Kurdistan who has an autonomous region)
@Luigi2918@VerminusM@NiohBerg The reason Palestine has no nation:
Palestinian society is split into rival cities and Hamulas (clans) with local loyalties over national unity, making it a collection of tribes, not a nation.
@The_MidwestGent@HamasAtrocities Last but not least: you’re using theology while I’m sticking to history.
Theologically: They died for a new covenant replacing "traditions of man." Historically: They saw it as the completion of Judaism and lived as practicing Jews for decades.
@The_MidwestGent@HamasAtrocities You are absolutely right he was the center tho, but that still doesn't mean they werent Jewish. It only became a global religion because of Paul, who argued it should open to non-Jews without them needing to convert to Judaism first. Before Paul, it was strictly a Jewish sub-sect
@The_MidwestGent@HamasAtrocities Criticizing leaders doesn't mean they weren't Jewish; If they weren't 'religiously' Jewish, they wouldn't have continued worshiping at the Temple for decades (Acts 3:1, 2:46, 21:20-26). They didn't leave Judaism; they believed they were the only ones practicing it correctly.
@The_MidwestGent@HamasAtrocities They would not; Jesus didn't start a new religion. For 50 years it was a Jewish sub-sect. It only evolved into a separate "Christianity" once it opened to non-Jews decades later.
They saw themselves as Jews, not a different religion.
@aakib0119 @VividProwess nigga, I just googled her name and I got more results than videos of trump saying "China"
What you talking about "unconfirmed"
@z_is_now@persianjewess@jakeshieldsajj You clearly cannot recognize geo-strategic values.
You are judging purely on square-km, while ignoring technological and geographical dis/advantages.
And if a person disagrees with you, you back up your lack of knowledge with insults.
have a nice day.
@leonidragozin I guess you have never been to Russia.
Go to any city outside the big cities.
Me, as someone who was born in Russia, i can tell you that most of Russia looks like this.
And because of people like you, Russia will always look like it is.
