Stranger Things Finale: 5.5/10

⚠️SOFT SPOILERS⚠️

• Felt rushed, so many unanswered questions/plot holes
• Eleven being the main character was good
• Total bait & switch when it came to deaths this episode/season
• Hopper vs Vecna was well done
• Final battle(s) felt cheap, though visually cool, but lacked high stakes & proper struggle
• Too much cussing & taking the Lord’s name in vain
• Mind Flayer lacked depth this season. The main villain shouldn’t feel like a side character
• Season had WAY TOO MANY characters, stealing precious screen time from essential characters & proper time to explain things
• I didn’t feel the emotional tie the Duffer Brothers wanted us to have with Vecna’s backstory, nor did his final scene feel that emotional
• Will going full Kevin McAllister “I’m not afraid anymore” was so cheesy
• Final 45 minutes felt like 90 minutes
• Final scene with the whole squad was solid

Overall: Weak final season, that’ll be best know for Will’s “I don’t like girls” coming out scene…
