GOOD NEWS! 🔥🇳🇬
Bandits thought today was business as usual, but the Nigerian military had other plans! 💪🏾⚔️
A good number of terrorists were sent to land of virgins in Gummi, Zamfara State, during an early morning operation, while stolen cattle were successfully recovered. 🐄✅
See the way Gummi residents came out in their numbers to celebrate our soldiers and security personnel. The joy was loud, the appreciation was real! 🎉👏🏾
At this point, terrorists are beginning to realize that every road no longer leads to escape. 😎🔥
God bless our troops. 🇳🇬❤️🔥👏🏾🇳🇬💪🏾🐄🎉⚔️🚔🦅🇳🇬
Zidane is the greatest midfielder the game has ever seen. The purest breed. Too smooth.
Watching Henry here, I have no doubt in my mind that Nicolas Jackson will become world class at some point.
How many big chances did this broda miss?
Farewell, Professor Kola Oyewo
Farewell, Oba Lapite
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Professor Kola Oyewo—scholar, actor, teacher, cultural ambassador, and dear colleague.
I had the privilege of working with him on Koseegbe, Oleku and Saworoide where he gave a memorable performance as Oba Lapite. His portrayal brought depth, dignity, and humanity to the role, making the character one of the film’s most enduring figures.
Ironically, Lapite’s death in the story created a challenge for me as a filmmaker. Once he was publicly executed by Lagata, I could not bring Kola Oyewo back into the narrative. I missed him then.
Today, I miss him again.
Kola Oyewo belonged to a rare generation that successfully bridged scholarship and performance. He inspired countless students, actors, and audiences through his talent, humility, and lifelong commitment to learning, culture, theatre and film.
Nigeria has lost a remarkable artist.
Farewell, Professor Kola Oyewo.
Farewell, Oba Lapite.
Your legacy will endure in the stories you told and the lives you touched.

And these are the people you want Nigerians to hand over the country to? Men who have failed to manage and govern their own region with accountability.
Just take a look at the South East Development Commission (SEDC). Funds were released for regional development, yet reports indicate that ₦3.6 billion has already been spent on frivolous expenses.
Meanwhile, the South West Development Commission SWDC is focused on securing rail licences aimed at connecting all six Southwest states and driving regional economic growth.
Tomorrow, when the Southwest becomes fully transformed through strategic planning, infrastructure development and prudent management of resources, these same people will turn around and blame Pres Tinubu for their own shortcomings, claiming he only developed his region.
What they will conveniently ignore is that they were given the same opportunity and resources to develop their own region.
Development does not happen by accident; it requires vision, competence, accountability and the responsible management of public funds and not the shenanigans those in charge of the South East Development Commission are doing..
